We are affirming all the time. Affirmations have gotten a bad wrap recently and yet they are just part of the way we think. For instance when we are ill we affirm “I feel sick” or “I am sick” we are making “firm” a belief, or suggestion that has now been manifested. We may not even be conscious that this is going on in our heads. In order to align ourselves with Divine Mind, it is helpful to be aware of our self talk and align it with our spiritual sense of what is true, rather than what the physical senses are telling us. This is not to try and change the situation we are in (although it often seems to) it is just to bring us into harmony with what is already spiritually true. They have to feel comfortable for us. We have to have them in our own language. Something that sounds like we would say it if it was manifested even if it isn’t here now to physical sense.
